The perfect name for Lambie

Our granddaughter came up with it - Coal. Now we're just dithering on the actual spelling.

Coal?
Cole? (Madman thinks this is more a proper sort of name than coal.)
Kohl? (This one was my idea, since he's resisting coal.)

Whaddaya think?

Kohl makes me think of the department store (which is way better here than I've seen "up there", just for the record).

Kohl is also the black ... cosmetic? face paint? ... adornment :) Which makes it a good name for a ram lamb.

Kohl. No question.

K'hhol. Just to be difficult. And it makes him sound like a Klingon.

I'd call him Newcastle but that's just me *lol*

He's a cutie!

I'm for Coal. But wow your commenters are a contrarian bunch :-)
Or if you went with Cole, when he's a big ram, you can preface him as Old King

Definitely Kohl. Very exotic, and makes me think of smokey eyeshadow, or in fibre terms, lots of blacks and greys spun together into a beautiful yarn.

I like Kohl, too (that store is pretty good here in the Midwest). But I really, really like K'hhol, pronounced as though you are clearing your throat like a Klingon.
